Squirrelmail addressbook from LDAP?

Has anyone tried this? To parse a data from LDAP into Squirrelmail. Wherein the addressbook data will be from the LDAP server. Thanks.

I don't quite follow your question, but if you have an address book in LDAP in some form, you can access it directly from squirrelmail if that helps.

From memory you either run the config program or can edit the config file directly to add the LDAP search string

billymayday,

You got it. That's exactly what I want to happen. I do have address book entries saved on the LDAP server. I want to configure squirrelmail to use that addresses so that we will have a centralized address book for squirrelmail and mail clients such as Outlook and Thunderbird. I need to know how to integrate LDAP with the squirrelmail (ala Global Address book). Can you still recall how you did it? If possible, can you please show me your config.php if that's what you are saying. Thanks.

I get it. You just have to run conf.pl and configure your ldap server. Thanks.

No, I only use it on a secure internal network and really don't need to.

I'd suggest a new thread though.
