squid proxy and blacklisted on a site

Hello!

I've got a question for you guys. I'm hosting for myself proxy server based on squid3 and on the very same server I have some small marketing module that queries, few popular APIs (twitter for ex.)

And strange thing is: I was blacklisted by twitter (dunno really why, or if it's even a blacklist) but strange thing is that I was using curl for getting site content, with user agent and headers set exactly like in chrome and, curl cannot connect to that API, (anything on the server cannot, even lynx). But when I use the server as anonymous proxy (based on squid) and query the same api from my local machine, I'm not blocked. How is that possible? it seems that squid doesn't mask everything he should?

Any suggestions would be appreciated
