SQL Database Administration

I just installed SQL, and am trying to set up Phorum, but I don't know some vital information about the SQL server like Server Name and all that. I looked in my-huge.cnf in /usr/share/sql but I can't find this information anywhere. I also tried
$ mysql
mysql-> \h

but that didn't yield anything that I found helpful either, or at least anything that I understood. I have been searching all afternoon for help with this issue, but all I get is "Consult your system administrator," which unfortunately is me .

Any help would be much appreciated

Try 'localhost' as the name of the server and leave the password blank.

The install script requires the following:
Database - Server Name
Database - Name
Database - User Name
Database - Password

I tried what you said, but I get an error that it can't open the dbfile.
