Spreadsheet and Graphing in the same bed?

Ok, using MDK 10.
I'm looking for an excel type program with can spreadsheet AND make graphs from those spreadsheets. Maybe I have programs to do this and just don't know how to use them but I have spreadsheet programs and I have graphing programs. The speadsheet ones don't graph and the graphing ones don't spreadsheet. Help is much needed lol. Thanks. Also, are there any linux programs that can expeort spreadsheets as excel readable documents? (I doubt it but who knows) since I'm going to college soon. If not I guess I'll just break down and download excel (I dual boot).

I haven't done much with it, but OpenOffice.org can do various kinds of charts based on data in an OOCalc spreadsheet. Read and write compatibility with Excel spreadsheet format is pretty good too.
