Does anybody know if there is a program in linux that will take a large wav file and cut it into smaller equal length tracks. I take a sermon every sunday that is about an hour long and with spin doctor in windoze i cut it into 18 equal sized tracks put an intro at the beginning and a small final track at the end. I then burn it onto a CD with no delay between the tracks. People can then listen to it starting at any track or straight through without interuption. I would really like to be able to do this is linux as I do everything else in linux and would really like to get rid of windoze.
