specifying location of .kde
Hi,
I'm looking for a way to ensure that two different installs of KDE will not write to the same .kde file. I have two computers, one as a NIS server, the other is a NIS client. I can mount my home directory on the client machine, however, if I use KDE on the client machine, it will use the default .kde location. I'd like to have something like .kde and .kde-remote. The client machine's install of KDE would write its settings to .kde-remote. How can I specify the location of the .kde directory? I need to do this at boot-time, before anyone uses KDE. Thanks, Kevin |
