spamassassin with vpopmail

i'm running some small webhosting not too big (is under 100 currently, and of course limited bancwidth), here's my setup on mail server

OS : RedHat Linux 9
Qmail : 1.3.x
Software :
All from inter7.com
sqwebmail, vpopmail, vqadmin, ezmlm, checkrespond, qmailadmin

and after a while that we need to filter the spam out, i installed spamassassin (default on RH 9.0 CD - maybe i will update after this setup is successful)

did anyone have try or maybe successful with my setup like that above ?
and give some good advice or ideas to advanced this mail server ?

thanks for your concerned
