SpamAssassin with exchange 2000
I am a NOOB to the SpamAssassin world and was looking for a reliable spam filtering server. I was wondering if it is possible to use SpamAssassin with Microsoft Exchange as the mail server? Thanks in advance for any help!

Your mail server "brand" is irrelevant. It does a check on inbound mail headers against a known external database or blacklist.

Thanks that is what I thought. Is there a quick start guide somewhere on the net for SpamAssassin? Also is there a GUI pluggin for it some where? Would like to configure from a web browser if possible. Again I am just a Noob. I am trying to introduce Linux in to a company that is completely run on MS software. I though that this would be a good foot in the door. Thanks for the help!

definately a good start, anti-spam is a big win. Caching proxies are another linux win....firewalls too.
Anyway, I digress, webmin might have a plugin but I havent looked. It is fairly straightforward. Build it at home, break it there and then roll it out in a dev situation....
good luck....
