I have the following rules set in spamassassin local.cf:
score CHARSET_FARAWAY 4.1
score CHARSET_FARAWAY_HEADER 4.1
But these don't appear to be working. Why? Is there a local rule I can create to inspect the Content-Type string? Possibly:
header LOCAL_CHARSET Content-Type =~ /koi8-r/
but I'd rather use the built-in rules if possible.
Below are the headers for a message I received, but no mention of the CHARSET_FARAWAY rules in the X-Spam-Report. koi8-r is Russian Cryrillic:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="koi8-r"
Subject: =?koi8-r?B?7NXe28XFIM/OzMHKziDLwdrJzs8g19PAIM7FxMXMwCDSwdrEwcXUIA==?= =?koi8-r?B?xMXO2MfJIMkgzcXHwSDCz
