has anyone had fair experience with making SA work with sendmail and/or troubleshooting it?

i'm using:

[root@mail mail]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Fedora Core release 1 (Yarrow)

i have had this problem dropped on my lap as one of my co-workers is on leave and is unable to access a termial to troubleshoot the problem himself. i have had no experience working with SA, and is new software to me. the explaniation of the problem is, well, it just stopped working. maybe i over wrote a file by accident or dnl'ed the wrong line by accident in sendmail.mc. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks! :-)
