Spam notifier?

Hello,
I spent a lot of time on google trying to find any open-source software that notifies you when somebody sends a lot of mail in a short period of time from an email account or when somebody sends a lot of mail in a short period of time to one email account on your server and I found nothing.

Can please somebody suggest anything(software/script) that can perform this task?

Spamassassin, working along with Clamav or Amavisd.

These programs fight spam but not notify you by mail that someone is sending spam
