is there a good proggie that creates space when needed on a harddrive

I have a disk called backup and on that disk i have a incremental backup of some homedirs and web etc every day, named backup.YYYY.MM.DD.tar.gz .
is there a proggie that deletes the oldest file(s), lets say i want it to at least have 5 gb space left all the time??
