Question Space parity in Linux

I have a protocol that uses space parity. Linux dosnt support space parity as standard.
Im using Redhat 9 and Kdeveloper (C++).

How do I work around this?

I think the kernel may be patched to support this, if it doesn't already. Google for "space parity linux". Of course, if this program is to be distributed then that's not much use.
