soundconverter and mp3


hi
I am trying to install this package :
gst-plugins-ugly-0.10.5

which is needed to convert to mp3 files in soundconverter and there is an error which is
Code:
liboil-0.3.6 or later is required
I installed this package but the error is still there and i tried a later version but nothing more.

Make sure you've installed the missing library where the package you're trying to install is looking for it otherwise you'll keep getting this error no matter how many times you reinstall the library.The other option would be to tell the package to look for it where you've installed it.
