Question sound server problem

After installing redhat 8.0 on my machine when i boot it keeps on telling me that it cannot start ihe sound server. My sound card is integrated with the motherboard, a mercury motherboard.Please anyone with ideas i appreciate your help.

Here is the page, on Mercury's site, which was the first hit when I plugged "Mercury motherboard" into a search engine, for you to look up which audio chip you have. I don't know the exact motherboard you have. Mercury makes a few different motherboards. And, why are you using RH 8?
