Sound problems with Kamarok and Firefox. Kubuntu 8.10

Ok. Here is the case. My sounds work just fine except for amarok and firefox, actually sound works in them too but I am only able to get sound out from line out port. I'd like to get them to play from s/pdif optical out like every other program in the system. Have tried pretty much everything. Probably it's just some small adjustment but I am too fed up at this time to try anything else =)

All suggestions are welcome ...
