Sound lagging for flash in firefox
 

Does anyone else have this problem? After watching flash movies on google video or youtube.com for a few seconds, the sound is lagging behind by a second or 2.

So far I've tried running it with aoss and arts, then I went out and bought a brand new audigy sound card but it still lags.

A lot is down to the linux flash version (7). Don't ask me more. Should be fixed with flash 9 when it comes out. It seems to be well on track.

I just tackled this problem as I had NO sound with flash in firefox. I tried every single solution that I could find and ultimately (Don't ask what it was that did it) I was able to get it to work. I do not have the lag-time in sound playback, though.

Though I believe that the stem of the problem is with the flash-player itself, there is some kind of workaround for it because I have a snappy response from it. Dare I say it works just as well as it did in Windows.
