I have an Acer AM5100 desktop that i installed JULinux on which is a modify version of Ubuntu. I need to find sound drivers for the system. It's running a AMD 64bit processor.
In order to obtain the driver for your Acer AM5100 you will need to find out what sound card you have inside of your pc. Once you know what card have and manufacturer that made it; finding the driver online should be a breeze-

From what I can see, JULinux was based on debian, not ubuntu, and appears to be a dead project (no upates since 2011-06-15, www.justuselinux.com is unable to be reached, etc.).
You would do better to use a well known and supported OS over a dead project.

The drivers are probably already installed. You can try checking the mixer (alsa-mixer), sometimes the sound card is muted by defualt, or the wrong sound card is used.
Wow i didn't know it was based off of Debian, it said in the script it was based off of Ubuntu. Oh well i got other Linux OS, it's just my office manager liked this one since she use it on my work laptop. Thank You
what's up skullbox! I should have know I could find you on a linux forum.
I didn't know all that about julinux, I was started to think it was dead too.
Yup Dee I am always reading around or posting on different Linux forms, Don't forget we run Linux in our shop. We just got rid of JULinux and installed fedora in all our computers. My main system is running Windows 7, Fedora, Ubuntu and Backtrack 4, and now our server running debian instead of oracle.
