sound doesn't work in webpages after using xmms

i'm running kde and i start arts soundserver on startup (i like to have a login/logout sound). if, after startup, i visit webpages with sound (for instance, www.homestarrunner.com) there is no problem and i can hear everything fine. if, however, i run xmms and then try the webpage, there is no sound.

my xmms is set to oss.

thanks for any feedback.

Try getting XMMS 1.2.8pre1. There were a lot of problems with XMMS and ARTS.
