Use GAIM or EVERYBUDDY

There are plenty of others, those are just 2 that support multiple (including MSN) chat protocols.

Hi!
I'm not sure what MSN uses, but if its any thing like Yahoo!'s chat it uses java. I don't use Galeon, so I won't know how to make it use java.

If you installed netscape when you installed Slackware that should do just fine. Just run the command 'netscape' to launch it.

Good luck!

PS, I use Mozilla & Opera.

Oops, I see. It's a chat room. Oh, sorry for the lame answer.

In Galeon, there is a drop down menu that you just have to click on to enable JAVA.

Quote from the msn site: " At this time, MSN Chat does not work on Macintosh, Windows 3.1, Windows NT 3.1, and Unix operating systems."

Its not going to work unless you are running windows 9x/2k/XP....

What happens when you try?
