Something similar to pinnacle studio
 

Hi Guys,

I've gone solo! No more dual boot for me!:D
There are a few programs that I need:
Is their something to pinnacle studio?
I create wedding and birthday dvd's with photo's and video clips taken of the occasion.
Pinnacle did a great job at this.

There are a view programs they could do it.
1. Kino - it´s very simple to use and good to import form DV-camcorder but there are only few transitions...
2 Cinelerra - it´s a little bit difficult to work with it but you could do much more with it.

I´m using both.
1. to import the material I want to edit or for such simple things.
2. to make good Films with a lot of effects

At the end you can render the film to several formats (like mpeg...)
Than you have to use a programm to create a DVD with menu and so on
you can use ManDVD or QDVDuthor
