linjia LQ Newbie Registered: Sep 2004 Location: China Distribution: Debian Posts: 19 Rep:	something about the gtk themes "http://www.gnome-look.org/content/preview.php?preview=1&id=13548&file1=13548-1.jpg&file2=13548-2.jpg&file3=&name=MacOS-X+Aqua+Theme" Above is a gtk2.0 theme Macos preview I saw in www.gnome-look.org .I download the theme but I can't get the same effect as the preview .I 'm using gnome-2.8 ,and the windows manager is metacity.The appearance and layout of my desktop is quite different from that of Macos,after installing the theme,my gnome-panel is exactly the same as before(except for icons ) ,and seems dosen't like Macos at all .how can I make my desktop the same as the preview?
