some jsps will not compile

Hello,

I cannot compile SOME jsp pages for some reason.
I have something like this:
http://www.mydomain.net:8080/WEB/index.jsp - this comiles
http://www.mydomain.net:8080/WEB/BLAH/BLAH/index.jsp - will not compile where BLAH is a bunch of different folders.
I have it all working on Win XP. Now I am trying to make it work on FC5.

Thanks.

Hello,

I took the page that can compile and moved it to BLAH/BLAH folder and it does not compile now!

What is going on? Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hello,

I just solved the problem. I looked into logs.
I had several .jar files in /common/lib corrupted so I just replaced them with fresh ones.

Thanks.

You know, a Linux oriented forum might not be the best place to get servlet/JSP support. I see you had a great conversation with yourself, though.

We can help you get Tomcat up and running on Linux but support with the actual JSPs and servlets is beyond the scope of this forum.

Have you checked out the jGuru Servlet forums?

Good job on looking at the logs. Whenever you get ANY kind of error or problem, looking at logs is the first thing you want to do.

Peace...
