Some Freevo questions...

I have a Gentoo 2004.2 box running (running very fine) with Freevo 1.5.1 installed. I have some strange problems though and I don't see any solution for the time being. Perhaps you guys can be of help.

1. I can't play DVDs. Freevo detects any inserted DVD correctly, but when I want to play it, the screen goes black for about 1 sec and then it returns to the menu where I came from. Pretty strange, as I can play other video files (like AVI files) without a problem so mplayer moest be working correctly. I have libdvdcss installed.

2. For some reason, the discs with AVI files I burned on my WIndows system don't seem to have any extension on my Linux system. I guess it's because of a difference in the fs or so. Anyhow.. I want to configure Freevo/Mplayer that way that it also can play files without extension. In the supported file types list I already tried to add several things like '' (empty), or ' ' or NULL etc etc.. but I can't find any value that does the trick. Any Python genuis' here?

3. When I want to play an MP3, all Freevo does is skipping through all the MP3s on a disc. No more, no less. Strange feature, isn't it?

Well euh thanks for all the help I hope to get
