SOLVED - Trouble creating a web video with sound
I wanted to record my screen with audio and put it on my website. I used vokoscreenNG on my Peppermint 11 laptop. It recorded it in .mkv format. It worked fine until I uploaded it to the website. The video played but it didn't have any audio. I converted it to .mp4 and uploaded it. It didn't have any audio. Then I uploaded it to one of those sites that will convert files. the website was media.io. I had my mkv file converted it to .mp4. Although my mp4 didn't work on my website, this one from media.io worked fine.
On my desktop this morning using Linuxmint 20.3 I used SimpleScreenRecorder to record a short .mp4 video with audio. It played fine on my computer, but when I uploaded it to the website, there wasn't any audio.
I've watched videos made by other people online that were made by SimpleScreenRecorder and they were fine.
What am I missing?
