SOLVED How Can I Disable K3B Meta Renamer Plugin

I'm trying to burn an audio CD for one of my neighbors who doesn't have a computer. The audio in question is of an old-time radio show in the public domain.

When I burn the disc, the K3B Audio Metainfo Renamer automatically renames it to an Indian Raga based on some fool thing it thinks it finds on CDDB. It is not an Indian Raga; it's a radio play about a golf club (my neighbor used to be an avid golfer until he got too old).

I've tried disabling the plugin by unchecking it in the Settings-->Configure K3B-->Plugin dialog, but K3B disobediently turns it back on. A reading of the K3B help and a web search were not helpful.

Does anyone know how to turn this darned plugin off or make it just go away so, when my friend puts the disc into his CD player, the track titles are accurate?

A "locate" returned this:

Code:
$ locate rename | grep k3b
/usr/lib64/kde4/k3baudiometainforenamerplugin.so
/usr/share/kde4/services/k3baudiometainforenamerplugin.desktop
If worse comes to worse, I'll try renaming that *.so file and see what happens, but an easy way out is always appreciated.

I'll try that tomorrow and report back.

Update:

I took a look at wodim. It's not installed on my system. I already have cdrecord installed out of the box and could likely make that work, but I'm stubborn and this isn't urgent. There should be a way to get K3B to work and play well with others.

I'll play with it some more on Monday.

As root, I renamed the plugin file.

Code:
$ cd /usr/lib64/kde4
$ su
# mv k3baudiometainforenamerplugin.so k3baudiometainforenamerplugin.so.bak
That removed the plugin from the K3B's plugin list and I was able to burn the CD with no further editorial intervention from K3B. (Now I just have to remember to move it back when I'm done with this little task.)

Nevertheless, I think that there should be a functional menu-driven way to accomplish this in a GUI program. I think I'll file a bug report sometime over the next day or two.
