Software with built-in auto-update

I want to create a list of free/libre apps that have auto-update built in.

I believe all Mozilla apps do this. LibreOffice did but seems that option was removed.

I appreciate anybody posting known apps.

Thanks.

you may want to add all popular browsers, like Opera or Chrome.

Was it? Well, on my Windows box, LibreOffice regularly notifies me of available updates, but is unable to actually update itself. Instead, it suggests me to download the new version and run the update myself.

But what's the point in making such a list? This can only be targeted at Windows users, right? Any contemporary Linux distro has its own packet management with built-in check for updates - at least optionally. That's why I think that an auto-update feature is pointless for the Linux versions of application. I have auto-update turned off in each program that offers it; I let the update manager of my system notify me, and if I approve, let it install and manage new versions centrally.

I think Opera for Linux is pretty much dead, but noted.

The list is for admin maintenance. Sometimes distro maintainers don't or forget to disable the individual update checks. Non technical users get confused by the individual notifications, which conflict with the distro update notifier.
