Software to read .iso and .cue

Hello,

Not really sure what's best to use to read a .cue image file.

Thanks,

Let me understand. You want to:

- write a .iso or .cue file on a cd?
- mount it and read it as a filesystem?

It's saying wrong fs type when I try that, maybe the file is corrupt.

For an iso file you want to do this

mount -o loop /path/to/image.iso /path/to/mount/directory

For a bin/cue file you need to use the cdemu utility, find it in the packaging format for your distribution.

P.S. a cue file contains information that explains how to interpret a .bin image file, the cue file is not an image file in itself. If you have a bin and no cue the cue can probably be recreated, if you have a cue and no bin you have nothing.
