Software to manage backups across Internet from Windows server to Linux

I have a client who'd like to be able to offer his clients an online backup service.

He has a co-located dedicated Linux server, and most of his clients have a single Windows server at their offices that needs it's data backing up.

I'm looking for recommendations on software for both ends. It's important that the Windows end is reliable, so I wouldn't mind using a proven off-the-shelf piece of backup software. Also these aren't huge companies so their upstream speeds might be slow (I'd guess in the 256k-512kbps range, but possible 128k). It would useful to be able to offer incremental file backups for users' file areas, to reduce the amount of stuff to transfer. I'd want to do the backup regularly, like at least every 2 or 3 nights.

On the Linux end any recommendations taken, don't mind if it's commercial or open source.

Thanks!

i'd look at it from a linux stand point, that is:

'pull' the data from windows-- to linux.

your topic makes it sounds like you have to have windoze do all the work (haha).

look into sbackup (simple-backup) it is a project created by one of those 'google' summer competitions last year.

it is powerful, easy (gui), free (of course) and it works.

you can set it up to work over ftp or ssh.

good luck, let us know.
