Software that indexes all of my Data CDs

I have a lot of data CDs to store my older, extra data and its often time consuming to find something I need on them. Is there some software for GNOME that can index all of the CDs somehow to make it much easier for me to find the files I need?

Hi for your important jobs i use "CDCollect :a gnome cd/DVD catalog application" thats good and very easy to use

Example data DVD :
'cd /media/LXFDVD93/'
'find . -name "*" > /home/knudfl/2index/lxf93D.txt'
to make a complete index file.

And to find stuff in your index :
'grep -i stuff 2index/*'
