software raid (linear) and moving disks

Hiya,

I had a linear software raid running on my hard drive going over two partitions /dev/hda1 and /dev/hda5.

Then I moved this hard disk to accomodate a new bigger hard disk, and it is now /dev/hdb... so I changed /etc/raidtab to reflect the necessary changes.

However the persistant superblock is not letting me start the RAID array, as it still wants to believe the drive is /dev/hda.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

I tried raid0run to run the RAID ignoring the superblocks, and could view some files and list some directories, but the superlbocks were probably being lumped in with the rest of the filesytem and screwing things up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou in advance.

James
