jabaker707 LQ Newbie Registered: Oct 2004 Location: Michigan Distribution: Fedora 2 Posts: 4 Rep:	software RAID 1 Fedora 2 question I have software RAID level 1 set up on two identical 120 gig harddrives on my test server. These house the / file partition. I tested them and all works flawlessly. I have the /boot partition and the /swap partition on a third 4 gig drive. My questions: How do I recover if the third drive with my /boot and /swap partitions fails? Should I reconfigure this to include the /boot partition and /swap partitions on the RAID array? Should the /boot partition also be mirrored?
