Software needed

I am searching for an open source software that will do this:

I have a main directory that include about 200 folders. The user will be able to search the filename of the first level (the name of the directories). I will be able to add files by simply dropping in the directory or by uploading using my browser.

I dont want a simple directory listing.
Is there such a software?

Thanks for your replies and ideas

Your description is way too vague.

Do you want this to run in the console, a local graphical app, in browser scripting, server side web based?

Search how - what criteria?

Add files to what? copy them? list them?

I prefer to be server side web based.

- Search how - what criteria?

The user will enter "test" and will find all directories matching "*test*".

- Add files to what? copy them? list them?

Upload new directories that will appear to the user.

Something like that:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/autoindex
