In answer to your last question, open a terminal and cd to where you downloaded the file then use this command to install it:

rpm -Uvh tcltk-version.rpm
You can find VMWare and the different versions available (plus prices) at
www.vmware.com. RHEL should have a package manager, probably Yum. Use that to install software, it'll make your life a lot easier.
