software for rip video add subtitles
 

Hi, for work propossal I have to extract 2 minutes of dvd video and then add subtitles, so, I was trying with Drip but seems that I don't have all dependences, so i want to ask you:

would you recommend me some other software for rip just the part of a dvd video? I want to do this all from linux
