Software for Downloading a Yahoo group.

I'm trying to move some things from a yahoo group to a private server. The only software i know to use is wget, and thats grabbing a whole lot of crap. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be most appreciated. All the software i could was for windows only.

wget can be used effectively. RTFM

For e.g
if you want all pdf files from a site and up to 3 levels deep

or the whole of a site (use the -p option)

wget was the first thing i tried, and I've been trying different options with that, but it grabs things outside of the group im trying to back up. I was wondering if anyone has ever used another app to do this.
