Software for creating and opening password protected ZIP achives

Could any please suggest a stable application for creating, opening, and extracting password protected ZIP archives?

The password protection method could be Zip 2.0, 128-bit AES and 256-bit AES.

Thanks.

I do not know what you really tried to mean. But Winzip 10.0 has all the features I mentioned.

Oops. Apologies - I really didn't read your post quite as thoroughly as I should have.

FileRoller can apparently read password protected zip files, as can funzip. I'm not sure if they can read AES encrypted versions though.

You could always try running Winzip, or PKZip under WINE if you can't find a native Linux tool.
