Software for a media center
 

I'd like to set up a box as a media center/juke box (audio and video) to work together with my hifi and tv. Is there any appropriate software designed for this specific purpose? I've seen something like this in some bars, but I'm not sure what software they use - might not be linux.

I tried not to. That's why I've asked a specific software questoin at this forum and a specific hardware questoin at the hardware forum. If you consider I should have asked both questions in one post I cans ee why you think this a double post, but in my experience asking two questions in one post leads to only one beig nswered.
