software apps for linux

Hi, where can I find software applications( like browser,media player,games,ides , editors etc) that run on linux.
I have madrake 10.1

Like redazz, I think the best place to get software for Mandrake 10.1 is via the Mandrake software repositories, which you can set up using Easy Urpmi (link in my sig).
