sntp reports network unreachable but seems to work anyway

After years of using NIST's nistime I've switched to sntp. It returns:
Quote:
sntp[20355]: sntp 4.2.8p12@1.3728-o Thu Aug 16 17:20:15 UTC 2018 (1)
sntp[20355]: Send to [2610:20:6f96:96::4]:123 failed, Network is unreachable
sntp[20355]: 2018-09-13 06:23:23.293264 (+0700) +0.042290 +/- 0.028778 time.nist.gov 132.163.96.1 s1 no-leap
Has sntp fetched the time or not?

The unreachable network appears to be IPv6. Is it possible it reached on IPv4 and that is why it is "working"?

Bingo! Adding the -4 switch eliminated the error. Thanks.
