I have 3 redhat 8.0 and 1 solaris 8.0 machines and configured snmp on all the boxes, from 2 days my snmp walk,get is not working on 2 of the linux adn when i try to give snmp walk hostname public it isgives :-- request timesout No response message, i checked for services it is running and also i took the conf file from one of my snmp working linux box and replaed but still the same problem but if i give snmpwalk <other_host_machine name> public, it gives the output when i try to walk on this machines aim getting request timed out and no response what could be the prob, any helpppp
