Snes9x-x On PSUbuntu 9.04

Hey everyone I'm in need of a little help... I installed snes9x on Synaptic Package Manager and on the previous version of ubuntu I had before this one (9.04) after I installed it it went into the applications under games and I just had to click on it to launch it. This time it's not in my Applications. What I'm asking is how do I launch it?!?! I'm a bit of a newbie but I have had experience with Ubuntu before. Please Help!

I also installed VisualBoyAdvanced and had the same problem.

It may not have a graphical interface. At the command line, try typing snes then press tab (twice) to see what options are available. If running the command on its own does not bring up a graphical display (but maybe posts the output of possible commands that you can use with it) then you can try running the command followed by the location of a game to play.

Thanks for the help but I got it to work by following a tutorial (it was a different version of snes9x that worked)
