snapshot apps ubuntu 8.04


IS there a screenshot/snapshot app equivalent to MWSNAP in Windows for Ubuntu8.04??

Your Print Screen button should do the trick for most of the functions you want. If you want to zoom an area to capture then use the zoom in compiz or any other app before you hit printscreen. Best part is all this is already running in your system so you don't use any more resources.

While using jaunty ( which I uninstalled because it kept hanging) I discovered it has two apps for taking screenshots one full screen and one for selectable areas which I thought good

For Any one interested I found an app named "Shutter" which does just what I want.
