SMTP: Relay Denied
Hello,
I run a mail server for multiple domains. The problem is that my users can't send mail out via SMTP (running Sendmail) It just says relay denied... Can anyone help me? Please, Thanks in advance, Nemesis |
Are they on the same network? If not it could be their own ISP that is denying them from accessing other SMTP to prevent spammers, etc. If they do have their own ISP, have them use their ISP's outgoing mail server. If not, well then you need to setup some relay domains in your relay-domains file for sendmail for all your users, etc.

Thanks very much for your prompt response,
My SMTP is denying relay. Could you please give me an example of a relay-domains file so that I can check it against mine to see if I am doing things correctly THanks, Chris |
