Smb4k


OK i am trying to run samba on fedora core 3 i am using smb4k as a front end cause it seemed to make it easier since i have no experince with linux networking so my problem is i can see both machines from smb4k and i get get and send files to the other pc from here but when i click on my machne in smb4k i cant login to it and when i try to login to it from the windows machine i cant get in so i made a netlogon and all that and restarted and i still have no luck getting into my machine from either network neighborhood any suggestions?????

try to turn off your firewall ? if you are using one..

shoulda mentioned that part no firewalls on either system running
