Smart Quotes

Hi all,

I don't know precisely when I noticed this, as I have lately reinstalled MDK10.2 or Limited Edition, however you want to call it, and I notice the Konq cannot properly display the MS Quotation marks, the angled or "curly" left and right double or single quotes. Note that I am not talking about the generic " I just typed, but these characters: . You should, and hopefully do see, something like ' ' . What I see in Konq is two little squares. Konqueror is set to use UTF-8, but it doesn't help. Oddly, even the KDE help center uses smartquotes which are non-compliant, so evertime I load my docs, I get a bunch o little squares instead of quotes. It is driving me mad! Any ideas?

Get that in the man pages too?
If so, from a command line:
Code:
export LANG="C"
Restart X.
