Small Simple System Monitor
Hi everyone,
I’m using Fedora Core 2 on a server that i am currently setting up. I would like a small program that will report the current system temperatures on the desktop. I have had a good look around and can find loads for Windows, the ones i find for Linux im not sure how good they are or if they will even work with Fedora! What are your recommendations guys? Cheers, Tim |
Try Gkrellm http://www.gkrellm.net/
If you use KDE, you can get something called SuperKaramba. Superkaramba is an engine that lets you put various toys right onto your desktop. A lot of Superkaramba programs are system monitors. Try http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=11405. T |
Hi, thanks for your reply.
Im using GNOME, and i wont the program to be as small as possible. I have seen GKrellM, it provides to much. Is there any smaller programs about? |
I believe Gkrellm can be configured to show only the temperature, but you'll have to check that.

Yeah i think your correct. But the server is low spec, and that program seems far to much for what i wont it to do
