Slow 3d Performance with ATI Radeon 9600
 

I have a radeon 9600 256mb 3d card, XP 2000+ CPU, and 768MB DDR ram

I installed the drivers for my card using "fedorafaq dot com" instructions.

When I try to run any 3D game, performance is slow... I get a low fps, and the game is jerky

Is there anything I should check/tweak?

Fire up the ATI control, and tell us what it says under the subheading OpenGL

I tested the 3d performance with Tux Racer and I get about 5fps :x
Very jerky performance, even on the menu?
