slimserver help - how to set music dir

I am having some problems with slimserver.
I am running it on redhat 9.0
I got it installed fine.
When i go to localhost:9000
I see the page fine

My problem is on adding songs.
It asks for your music directory
I tried /home/ilya/mp3
it said its an invalid directory.

Then i booted into windows..
and exported the itunes thing [library.xml file].

So i tried to use the following as a library.xml file:

/mnt/windows/Library.xml

And it also said it is an invalid file.

All these paths are correct.. what is going on?

it seems like it doesnt understand linux dirs.. but it is the linux version.. so what is going on??

Thanks..
