Hi there,in my company we had a computer to "Welcome" people that visit us.Basically the computer was running windows xp with a webpage using active desktop and when people clicked on a link in the page it would open a browser with the companys page.
I thought doing the same but with linux so i installed ubuntu and made the same page in openoffice and everytime someone power's on the computer it shows the presentation.
The problem is people either press escape or enter or click other places and the presentation ends,so the computer doesnt work as expected..
My question is ,is there any slideshow app or something similar that works as i pointed?Can this be done with some linux flash player?
Sorry for being to long but this way you will undestand better my problem.

If you are a programmer, then you build some slide show with the allegro gaming library toolkit, SDL toolkit, FLTK, or FOX Toolkit. Such an approach would give full control over the entire screen and keyboard input.

I am not aware of any specific Linux presentation tool - most people usually get OpenOffice Impress for that task, but that didn't work for you. With Impress around there is no motivation to develop some other presentation software.
